Bennys job is in the advertising market, and he made a bet with his friends that he could make a girl fall in love with him in less than 10 days. Andie works for a magazine and her job is to write an article on "How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days." After these tasks have been assigned they meet in a bar shortly afterwards. Coincidently, they end up choosing each other for their assignments. Benny tries to make Andie like him, while Andie tries to get him to break up with her.
